President's Newsletter - December 2024

Hello IDS-DFW Family,

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! This year, I was lucky enough to have all four of my kids home, including my son, who was able to come home from the Air Force before his next station assignment. It was such a special time, and I hope your holiday was equally full of love, gratitude, and cherished moments.

As we head into the Holiday Season, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks to each of you—our incredible designer and industry partner members. Your support and participation over the past few years have been nothing short of amazing. Together, we've built something truly special, and I'm so grateful to have been a part of it as your President.

While my time as President is coming to a close, I'm excited to continue serving on the Board as Past President. I'm even more excited to welcome Michelle Lynne as she takes the reins as our new President! The future of IDS-DFW is brighter than ever, and with so many fantastic events and initiatives on the horizon, I know our chapter will continue to strengthen and grow.

But remember—it takes all of us to keep the momentum going! Whether it's joining a committee, helping with events, or simply offering your ideas, every bit of involvement helps. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you'd like to get more involved in any way.

And speaking of events, you won't want to miss our Western-Themed Holiday Party and Salute to the Stars! It's going to be an absolute blast and the perfect way to wrap up the year with colleagues and friends.
