President's Newsletter - November 2024

Hello IDS-DFW Family!

November is here, and I'm so thrilled about everything our chapter has in store! Reflecting on October, our Member Meeting at Sunnyland Furniture was an absolute blast. If you missed it, here's a quick recap: we dove into the incredible product lines Sunnyland has to offer, enjoyed some delicious food, and had a super fun networking game of People Bingo. It was a perfect evening to catch up with IDS friends and meet new faces!

But don't worry if you missed it—our next meeting is just around the corner! Join us for a Happy Hour with Day Drapery at Design Elements on November 7th. There will be fun giveaways, helpful insights into window treatments, and more chances to connect with fellow members. This meeting is extra special because it's also our General Election! We'll be voting in our new Executive Slate for 2025/2026, and I'm excited to announce I'll be continuing on the board as Past President. It's a new role, and I can't wait to stay involved and support our chapter in fresh ways.

Looking ahead, we have so many exciting developments planned as we grow and build our chapter together. None of this would be possible without you, our amazing members! If you're considering getting more involved, there's truly a spot for everyone, whether you want to contribute a little or a lot. Please fill out our interest form—it's the best way for us to keep track of all who want to get involved, ensuring nothing is lost or forgotten. We'll consult this list as we form committees and plan for the upcoming year. You can also reach out to us at idsdfwcommunications@gmail.com or just come chat with any of us at the meetings. But trust me, the form is the easiest way for us to keep everything organized!

We are in the midst of changing over our web hosting and membership software system, so we may or may not be able to access certain information for just a bit. We will get it all updated as soon as we possibly can though!
