For students enrolled in a 4-year interior design or interior architecture program; or proof of enrollment at a community college or career trade school (minimum of 12 hours of class time per week).

Being a student member of the Interior Design Society has been an invaluable experience. I was introduced to IDS through the inaugural Diversity in Design Pipeline Program in partnership with Thermador. Since then, I have been welcomed with open arms into a community of groundbreaking designers, mentors, and partners. As a student, my courses equipped me with the knowledge, but being in the field equipped me with the experience. Part of that experience is networking with members of the society. This has been a privilege to have as a student—a launch into my career as an interior designer. The society is where I connect with leaders in the industry, learn and grow as a designer and have fun doing so.

RECENT GRADUATE & NON-TRADITIONAL STUDENT MEMBERSHIP
Annual membership dues: $100 (no application fee)
For recent graduates (with proof of graduation) of an accredited college or university within the past two years, or for non-traditional students enrolled in fewer than 12 credit hours in an interior design or closely related program.
This membership level is limited to a maximum of two years. Once the member has surpassed two years, they may grow into an Associate or Professional member.
