Individual Memberships
Individual Membership
Individual Interior Designer membership that requires a business license, tax ID and proof of practice. A degree in interior design is not required.
Individual Membership
Highest level of membership offered by IDS for individual designers. Requires certification with a nationally recognized exam or trade program, or a Graduate, Bachelor's, or Associate's degree in interior design. Photocopy of business license or tax ID and photocopy of diploma required.
Individual Membership
Open to non-designers employed in a sales or marketing role in an industry related business. This level is most commonly used for Sales Representatives. This membership level is for an individual member and is not eligible to host chapter meetings.
Individual Membership
Complimentary for qualified students enrolled in a graduate program, 4-year interior design or interior architecture program; or proof of enrollment at a community college or career trade school (minimum of 6 hours of class time per week).
Individual Membership
For interior designers who have graduated from an accredited college or university within the past two years. Once the member has surpassed two years, they may grow into an Associate or Professional member.

Corporate Membership
A small, regional business that provides a service or resource to, or would like to connect with, interior designers. This level is for businesses with 5 or fewer employees and allows a maximum of 2 designated company representatives to be on the membership. Includes the opportunity to attend and host chapter meetings.
Corporate Membership
A larger, regional business that provides a service or resource to, or would like to connect with, interior designers. This level is for businesses with more than 5 employees and allows a maximum of 3 designated company representatives to be on the membership. Includes the opportunity to attend and host chapter meetings.
Corporate Membership
A business that provides a service or resource to, or would like to connect with, interior designers. This level includes unlimited company representatives within your local chapter and offers the opportunity to attend and host chapter meetings. Gold Industry Partners also receive one local eblast per year, sent to all IDS members within your state.
