John Kassa

John is a Detroit native, and business has always been part of who he is. Growing up surrounded by entrepreneurs, he developed an early understanding of what it takes to build, lead and grow and successful businesses. He earned a bachelor's degree in History from Michigan State University, but his real education came from hands-on experience, learning from his challenges and triumphs of running companies. John currently serves as Director of Business Development at Bravo Payment Systems and is the previous owner of White Lake Supermarket and Nature's Finest, where he focused on driving growth while maintaining strong relationships and exceptional service for every client. He is known not just for his business acumen, but for his genuine desire to help others succeed. Connecting people, fostering partnerships, and creating opportunities for growth are central to the way he approaches every professional endeavor. Beyond his work, John is deeply involved in the broader business community. He serves as the President of the Detroit Executive Association, Treasurer of the Interior Design Society Detroit, and is a Trusted Advisor in Vistage Worldwide. His involvement extends to professional organizations such as Sen Design Group, Natural Stone Institute, Construction of Michigan, Homebuilders Association of Detroit, Toastmasters and he is actively engaged with the Achieve Program at Oakland University. Through these roles, John shares his expertise, mentors others and contributes to initiatives that strengthen the local business ecosystem.
