Michael has been immersed in the world of furniture making since 2001. Beginning with raw interest and borrowed shop resources, the journey began by creating small tables for his friends back in New York. Soon after, he moved to Portland in 2002 and eventually started working at a fine furniture shop. There he would remain until 2020 when opportunity and courage would combine to push him to open his own company. Today, PDX Woodworks stands as a bastion of quality, striving for the best pieces possible for their clients. He has ambitions to continue to grow his company, spreading the knowledge and craft of fine furniture to the next generation of makers.
